World Elders Day Celebration 2025 💜

We at Dr. V. S. Natarajan Geriatric Foundation extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. N. M. Veeraiyan, Founder & Chancellor, SIMATS, for partnering with us to celebrate World Elders Day on 16 October 2025.

This occasion was especially meaningful as Dr. V. S. Natarajan officially partnered with Saveetha to launch the Outpatient Department for the Elderly, a step graciously accepted and supported by Chancellor Dr. Veeraiyan.

This new Geriatric Outpatient Department brings together the expertise of Dr. V. S. Natarajan Geriatric Foundation in elder care and Saveetha’s strength in healthcare service delivery, to support older adults in Thandalam and surrounding communities

The event was marked by three inspiring highlights:

✨ Inauguration of the Outpatient Department for the Elderly by Freedom Fighter Thiru Lakshmikanthan Bharathy (Retd. IAS), a proud centenarian whose presence was a blessing to all.

📘 Release of the Geriatric Dental Health Book, promoting greater awareness on oral care for older adults.

🎓 Special lecture by Padma Shri Dr. V. S. Natarajan, urging us all to reimagine aging with dignity, care, and compassion.
